23 May 2018 Warsaw Arbitration and Mediation Days: Prof. Nikos Lavranos, Secretary General of EFILA will participate in an Oxford style debate on the question whether Poland should terminate all its bilateral investment treaties (BITs)

26 May 2018 the 9th Investment Arbitration Forum will take place in Vienna; Prof. Nikos Lavranos, Secretary General of EFILA will co-chair a panel on Changing Economic and Political Circumstances and their Effects on Damages, in particular regarding renewable energy disputes

1 June 2018 the AIA organizes a conference on the Future of Investment Arbitration in Europe, Prof. Nikos Lavranos, Secretary General of EFILA will co-chair a panel on Intra-EU BITs: A Way Forward After Achmea

15 June 2018 the DAA Investment Arbitration Committee will organize a Roundtable Discussion and Oxford style debate on the Consequences of the CJEU’s Achmea judgment for investment treaty arbitration; Prof. Nikos Lavranos, Secretary General of EFILA will participate in the Oxford style debate.
